| In the late 20th century, restoration was begun by Leonard (Mickey) and Judi Miner, and in 1988, The Rice house was added to the National Register of Historic Places.
Larry and Margo Allen purchased the house in 2005 and continued the restoration. The house will make a wonderful residence for a family that appreciates the value of historic homes. It is also designed to be ideal for a bed and breakfast inn, or guest house. The zoning and permits are in place to allow such use of this magnificent house.
